THESE STEERING WHEELS AND INCLUDE A UNIVERSAL JOINT WHICH IS ATTACHED TO STEERING SHAFTS AND SECURED BY LOCKING BOLTS. THE UNIVERSAL JOINT'S UPPER LOCKING BOLT WAS NOT SUFFICIENTLY TORQUED DURING MANUFACTURE, AND CAN EVENTUALLY LOOSEN.
IF THE UPPER LOCKING BOLT HOLDING THE STEERING ASSEMBLY'S UNIVERSAL JOINT LOOSENS, IT CAN RENDER THE STEERING SYSTEM INOPERATIVE AND CAUSE AN ACCIDENT.
DEALERS WILL REMOVE THE PRESENT UNIVERSAL UPPER LOCKING BOLT, INSTALL A NEW ONE, AND TORQUE IT TO SPECIFICATIONS.
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES. THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT FOR THE FUEL PUMP IS GROUNDED AT JUNCTION CONNECTOR G300. IF THE PIN TENSION IS POOR, OR THE BOLT SECURING THE CONNECTOR TO THE VEHICLE FLOOR IS NOT TIGHTENED SUFFICIENTLY, A POOR CONNECTION IS MADE. AS THE FUEL PUMP OPERATES, THE POOR CONNECTION CAN CREATE HEAT WHICH IN TURN INCREASES RESISTANCE. EVENTUALLY THE FUEL PUMP WILL NOT RECEIVE ENOUGH CURRENT TO OPERATE.
THIS CONDITION COULD CAUSE THE ENGINE TO STALL, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2018 Jeep Compass vehicles. The passenger side air bag assembly may have inflator mounting nuts loose within the module assembly.
In the event of a crash necessitating air bag deployment, unsecured inflator mounting nuts outside of the cushion assembly are potential projectiles that may strike the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.
Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the passenger air bag module assembly, free of charge. The recall began December 28, 2017. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is T73.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2025 F-150 full hybrid electric (FHEV) vehicles. The high voltage battery junction box may contain an incorrect fuse, which can fail and result in a sudden loss of drive power.
A sudden loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Dealers will replace the incorrect 60-amp fuse with a 150-amp fuse, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 11, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S29.
BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2019 C400X scooters. Water may collect in the throttle cable, which can freeze in cold temperatures, resulting in a stuck throttle.
If the throttle sticks open, there would be an increased risk of a crash.
BMW will replace the throttle cable with an improved version, free of charge. The recall began August 19, 2020. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.

On certain vehicles, the passenger (frontal) airbag inflator could produce excessive internal pressure during airbag deployment. Increased pressure may cause the inflator to rupture, which could allow fragments to be propelled toward vehicle occupants, increasing the risk of injury. This could also damage the airbag module, which could prevent proper deployment. Failure of the passenger airbag to fully deploy during a crash (where deployment is warranted) could increase the risk of personal injury to the seat occupant. DEALERS WILL REMOVE THE HEAT SHIELD ATTACHMENTS. THIS WILL NOT AFFECT HEAT SHIELD LOCATION OR FUNCTION, AS THE ATTACHMENTS ARE INTENDED TO KEEP THE SHIELD IN PLACE UNTIL THE FUEL TANK IS INSTALLED IN THE VEHICLE. AFTER INSTALLATION, THE FUEL TANK STRAPS RETAIN THE HEAT SHIELD.
A MALFUNCTIONING CHECK VALVE WITHIN THE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY CAUSES A PORTION OF THE UNUSED FUEL FROM ONE TANK TO BE RETURNED TO THE SECOND TANK. WHEN THIS OCCURS, THE CAPACITY OF THE SECOND TANK CAN BE EXCEEDED, CAUSING FUEL SPILLAGE.

On certain cars equipped with an automatic transmission, the shifter cable may detach. This could cause the transmission not to shift gears when the shifter is moved. If a driver attempts to exit the car while it is not in the Park position, and the parking brake is not applied, the car could move suddenly.
Sudden and unexpected movement of the car could increase the risk of a crash.
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the transmission side shifter cable bushing with an improved one. Note: The gear position indicator on the instrument cluster and next to the shifter will continue to work properly. In addition, if the driver's door is opened while the transmission is not in Park, the door ajar messages will display on the instrument cluster and chimes will sound.
THE HYDRAULIC PARKING BRAKE CONTROL VALVE MAY INADVERTENTLY ACTIVATE DUE TO MOMENTARY PRESSURE DISRUPTION IN THE HYDRAULIC PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM, RESULTING IN THE APPLICATION OF THE REAR AXLE BRAKES. SHOULD THIS OCCUR WHILE THE VEHICLE IS BEING OPERATED ON A SLIPPERY OR LOOSE-MATERIAL ROAD SURFACE, THE POTENTIAL FOR LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL WOULD EXIST. THE FRONT LEFT BRAKE HOSE COULD BECOME DAMAGED TO THE POINT WHERE A LOSS OF BRAKE FLUID COULD OCCUR INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
