Hyundai Motor Company (Hyundai) is recalling certain model year 2007-2012 Veracruz vehicles manufactured from December 26, 2006, through July 24, 2012. The affected vehicles may experience an oil leak from the front cylinder bank valve cover gasket. If there is a sufficient amount of oil dropped onto the alternator, the alternator will be damaged causing the charging system to become inoperative.
Safety Risk
If the alternator is damaged, the charging system warning lamp in the instrument cluster will illuminate, and the engine will lose power and the vehicle will eventually stop operating while being driven. An unexpected failure of motive power while driving increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Hyundai will notify owners, and dealers will inspect/repair or replace the alternator and the front valve cover gasket, free of charge. On certain CB750K, extreme oil pressure variation, such as caused when the engine is repeatedly revved-up immediately after starting in cold weather, could cause the countershaft oil seal to split allowing a leakage of oil. If the rider is unaware of the leak and operates the vehicle, oil may come in contact with the rear tire resulting in a reduction of traction.
Certain motorcycles may suffer clutch assembly failure while being ridden. Parts of the clutch could work loose resulting in clutch fragments/debris being thrown like projectiles through the engine block. As a result, the rider may receive serious injuries or death.
On certain motorcycles, a defect may exist in the lower cam-chain drive sprocket which may cause it to fail. This failure could cause the engine to lock-up which could result in a loss of control and a vehicle crash.

THE ONE-PIECE BEARING WITHIN THE LOWER CONTROL ARM BALL JOINT CAN WEAKEN SLOWLY DURING USE AND EVENTUALLY CRACK. THIS COULD RESULT IN SEPARATION OF THE BALL AND CAP OF THE JOINT, ALLOWING THE CONTROL ARM TO DROP TO THE GROUND.

AT PORT OF ENTRY, A QUALITY OVERCHECK OF THE DIFFERENTIAL PINION SHAFT TORQUE WAS PERFORMED. THIS CHECK REQUIRED THE REMOVAL OF THE DRIVESHAFTS. WHEN THE DRIVESHAFTS WERE REINSTALLED, THE WRONG SIZED NUTS WERE USED.

THE NUTS CAN LOOSEN, ULTIMATELY CAUSING THE DISCONNECTION OF ONE OR BOTH OF THE DRIVESHAFTS RESULTING IN LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE.
Remedy
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE HARDWARE ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES WITH HARDWARE OF THE APPROPRIATE SPECIFICATIONS.
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2003 Honda Accord Coupe vehicles, equipped with a four-cylinder engine. If the passenger frontal air bag module has been replaced, such as after a crash necessitating frontal air bag deployment, the replacement air bag module may include a Takata air bag inflator. These inflators may rupture due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to lower absolute humidity, temperature and temperature cycling.
Safety Risk
An inflator rupture may result in metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.
Remedy
Honda will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the vehicle and replace any Takata inflator used in the passenger frontal air bag module, free of charge. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Ford Escape and 2021-2024 Lincoln Corsair plug-in hybrid vehicles. A manufacturing defect in one or more of the high voltage battery cells may result in an internal short circuit and battery failure.
Safety Risk
Battery failure can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. Battery failure can also increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy
The remedy is currently under development. Owners are advised to only use "Auto EV" mode and will be instructed by mail to limit the maximum charge of the battery until the remedy has been completed. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, and instructions to limit the maximum charge of the battery were mailed December 8, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SC4.
