Safety Risk

The instrument cluster may not provide an audible warning to let the driver know that the key is still in the ignition when the door is open. On certain vehicles, a part in the trunk release latch could fail. If this happens, the emergency trunk release located inside the trunk compartment may not work properly. This could prevent a person that is trapped inside the trunk from opening it.

If a person is closed inside the trunk compartment, they may not be able to get out. This could create a risk of injury.
Remedy

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023 Edge vehicles. The front right headlight may be too bright or aimed incorrectly. On certain vehicles, the airbag warning labels on the driver and passenger sun visors could peel off. Canadian regulations require information about the airbag system to be provided on the sun visors.

On certain vehicles, the seat belt reminder chime may be delayed if you begin driving, and your
your seat belt is not buckled. Canadian regulations require both a seat belt reminder sound and visual tell-tale when a driver is not wearing their seat belt.

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2019-2022 330i, 330i xDrive, M340i, 2022 430i Coupe, 2021-2022 430i, M440i Convertible, and 2020-2022 228i xDrive Gran Coupe vehicles. The receiver audio module control unit software may fail to properly generate audible seat belt warnings to the driver to fasten their seat belt. On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label lists a tire pressure for the spare tire. The label should instead read as ''NONE / AUCUN'', as the vehicles are not equipped with a spare tire.

While there is a low risk to safety, listing the correct information on the tire and loading information label is required by Canadian regulations.
Remedy
None of the affected vehicles have been delivered to customers. Hyundai dealers will replace the tire and loading information label before the vehicles are delivered.
Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2024 Tucson vehicles. The tire and loading information label may incorrectly indicate information about a spare tire. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2017, 2020, and 2022 CR-V vehicles. The certification label on the driver's side door states incorrect Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR), and tire size information. On certain 911 GT3 Touring models, when the rear spoiler is raised manually, both the main and auxiliary center high-mounted stop lamps may switch on when the vehicle is braking. Canadian regulations only allow one of the two centre high-mounted stop lamps to be switched on while braking.

Multiple stop lamps that turn on at the same time could cause confusion for other drivers and increase the risk of a crash.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2018-2023 Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles equipped with third-row seating; and 2019-2023 F-Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 SuperCab vehicles. The owner's manual does not include instructions for adjusting or removing certain head restraints. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 202, "Head Restraints."

Without instructions, the head restraints may be improperly adjusted, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
Remedy
Ford will mail the Owner's Manual addendums that describe how to adjust and remove the head restraints for the center seating positions, free of charge. On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label lists the wrong maximum weight of occupants and cargo. Specifically, for Bronco and Super Duty models, the cargo capacity (payload) may have been calculated incorrectly. For the Ranger models, the weight of vehicle options may have been entered incorrectly. As a result, the vehicle could be overloaded. Canadian regulations require companies to print the maximum weight of occupants and cargo on the tire and loading information label.

Incorrect information about the vehicle's weight capacity could lead to overloading and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
