The 2025 Genesis G90 has 4 recalls, the most serious being a radar sensor defect that can cause the vehicle to brake suddenly without warning, and a fuel line connection that can leak and raise the risk of fire.
The unintended braking happens when the Highway Drive Assist corner radar falsely detects a vehicle that isn't there, triggering a hard stop that drivers and following traffic may not expect. On the fuel side, a loose connection between the fuel pipe and the fuel rail can allow gasoline to escape near engine components where it could ignite.
On the safety equipment side, the front seat belt anchors for both driver and passenger can detach from their mounting points, meaning the belt would no longer restrain the occupant in a crash. There is also a software fault in the instrument panel that can cause the entire display to go dark, taking the speedometer and warning lights with it and leaving the driver without basic vehicle information while moving.
