Two recalls cover fuel system concerns. A fuel leak at the connection between the fuel pipe and fuel rail raises the risk of a fire. On the fuel delivery side, the fuel pump can fail and cut drive power without warning, leaving the vehicle unable to accelerate and raising the risk of a crash. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve the fuel pump issue, which is why it appears across more than one recall campaign.
