Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2008-2010 Dodge Challenger vehicles manufactured September 19, 2007, to October 29, 2010. The affected vehicles are equipped with a dual-stage driver frontal air bag that may be susceptible to moisture intrusion which, over time, could cause the inflator to rupture.
Safety Risk
In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the driver's frontal air bag, the inflator could rupture with metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.
Remedy
Owners are advised not to drive their vehicle until the recall repair is complete. Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driver's frontal air bag inflator, free of charge. The recall began on November 17, 2015. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is R37.

On certain AMG C 63 model vehicles, the rear axle differential mounting flange may become over-stressed and fracture under certain extreme starting manoeuvers due to high torque peaks not being detected by the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) software. This could cause the rear axle to become mis-aligned and fail, resulting a loss of propulsion and a vehicle stall, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will update the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Chassis control units with new software.

On certain vehicles, the rear brake calipers may not have been properly machined and, as a result, brake fluid will leak due to improper sealing. If this occurs, the Low Brake Fluid Level Warning Light on the instrument panel will illuminate indicating that the brake fluid level should be attended to by the driver. If the vehicle continues to be driven with the Low Brake Fluid Level Warning Light illuminated, the driver will experience a soft or spongy brake pedal. In addition if both of these indicators are ignored, braking performance will be reduced.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the rear brake calipers.

Remedy
Dealers will replace the under hood shift bushing and add a protective cap over the shift cable bushing, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters, informing owners of the safety risk, were mailed July 1, 2022. Remedy parts are expected to be available in 4th Quarter 2022. On certain motorcycles, wheel bearings from an unapproved supplier were installed during the manufacturing process. Confidence in the bearing is low since Triumph has no details regarding the bearing supplier, or its quality controls and standards. The durability and performance of these bearings is thereby unknown. Bearing failure could cause a crash resulting in property damage and/or personal injury.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the wheel bearings.
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2023 Ariya vehicles. The steering wheel bolt may have been tightened incorrectly or not installed.
Safety Risk
A steering wheel with a loose or missing bolt can detach from the steering column, causing a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Owners are advised to contact their dealer for transport and immediate repair if the steering wheel feels loose when gently rocking the wheel forward and back with their hands. Dealers will replace the steering wheel bolt, free of charge. Nissan began notifying owners on March 2, 2023 via phone and will follow up with owner notification letters beginning on March 30, 2023. ON CERTAIN FUNERAL COACHES (MARKETED UNDER THE BRAND NAMES OF SUPERIOR, SAYERS AND SCOVILLE, EUREKA, AND MILLER-METEOR), THE FUEL FILLER NECK ASSEMBLY COULD LEAK FUEL.
Safety Risk
THIS COULD RESULT IN FUEL LEAKAGE WHILE REFUELING AND INADEQUATE PROTECTION FROM FUEL SPILLAGE WHEN DRIVING. FUEL LEAKAGE, IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.
Remedy
DEALERS WILL CHANGE THE FUEL FILLER HOSE OR ASSEMBLY FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON AUGUST 7, 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT ACCUBILT AT 1-800-324-7895.
On certain vehicles, the driver frontal airbag inflator could produce excessive internal pressure during airbag deployment. Increased pressure may cause the inflator to rupture, which could allow fragments to be propelled toward vehicle occupants, increasing the risk of injury. This could also damage the airbag module, which could prevent proper deployment. Failure of the airbag to fully deploy during a crash (where deployment is warranted) could increase the risk of personal injury to the seat occupant. Note: This recall supersedes special service campaign 2015-052.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Depending on the model, dealers will either replace the driver frontal airbag inflator or airbag module. All vehicles having received a replacement inflator as part of a previous special service campaign will have a replacement inflator installed.

On certain vehicles, originally sold, or currently registered in areas of heavy road salt usage during winter months (Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador), the front brake hose fitting at the caliper may corrode. If the fitting corrodes significantly, the internal brake hose-tube interface may develop a leak or in some cases break, causing a sudden increase in braking distances which may lead to a crash causing property damage, personal injury or death.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will replace both front brake hose assemblies.

Certain vehicles equipped with a hinged left side rear door may have a condition where inadequate clearance between the rear brake lines and the lower fuel filler hose clamp may result in abrasion to one or both rear brake lines. This condition could cause brake fluid loss which could result in decreased brake line pressure, increased brake pedal travel and increased stopping distance, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. This condition could cause various warning lights to illuminate in the instrument panel of the vehicle such the red “BRAKE” telltale symbol; illumination of the Stabilitrak telltale symbol; scrolling display of “Service Brake”, “Service Stabilitrak,” and “Service Traction Control” messages in the Driver Information Centre (DIC); and audible alerts/chimes.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect the brake lines. If the clearance is found to be below specification, the brake lines will be replaced with a new part design that provides adequate clearance.
