This recall is for rear shock absorber kits that were installed before delivery or sold as a dealer accessory.
On certain motorcycles, the screw that attaches the rear shock absorber adjuster could break. If this happens, the shock absorber adjuster could move and damage the rear tire. This could lead to a sudden loss of air pressure and a tire failure.

A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Harley-Davidson will notify registered owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the rear shock adjuster screw. If you have purchased one of these accessory parts, you can contact Harley-Davidson or a local dealer to determine if your shock absorber kit is affected by this recall.
On certain vehicles, the driver's hand could accidently reactivate the cruise control while turning at low speeds. If this happens, the vehicle could accelerate and cause an unexpected speed increase.

BMW will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the vehicle software.
On a small number of vehicles modified by Crew Chief Conversions, a fuel hose on the generator may not be properly secured and could leak fuel.
Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with an Onan QG 2800i generator.

A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Crew Chief Conversions will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a Cummins authorized service center to inspect the fuel hose between the generator fuel filter and injection pump module. The fuel hose and clamps will be replaced, if necessary. To reduce the safety risk, Crew Chief Conversions advises that you should not use the generator until the recall inspection is completed.
On certain vehicles, the latch for the storage compartment in the second-row armrest could fail. If this happens, the storage compartment lid could open in a crash.

A storage compartment that opens in a crash could allow objects to move inside this vehicle, and increase the risk of an injury.
Remedy
Land Rover will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the latch on second-row armrest storage compartment.
This recall is for certain motorcycles equipped with Ducati Performance accessory soft side bags (part number 96781971AA). The instructions for how to install the right-side soft bag may be unclear. As a result, the bag could contact the exhaust. If this happens while riding, the bag could melt.
Safety Risk
A soft bag that melts onto a hot surface can create the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Ducati will notify owners by mail and advise you not to ride your motorcycle with the side bags attached until the recall repairs are completed. They will also instruct you to take your motorcycle to an authorized dealer to install a frame for the right-side bag. Additionally, Ducati will update the instructions for how to install the side bags.
On certain trucks, the bed-cover could come loose while driving and detach from the truck.
Note: This recall affects Tundra and Tundra Hybrid models equipped with an optional Toyota genuine accessory tri-fold hard tonneau cover that was installed before delivery or sold as a dealer accessory.

A tonneau cover that separates from a moving vehicle could create a hazard for other drivers and nearby people.
Remedy
Toyota will notify owners by mail and advise you to remove the tonneau cover. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. Toyota will send you a second notice when a final repair is available.
On certain vehicles, a Mazda Genuine Accessory trailer hitch wire harness may have been installed incorrectly. As a result, the wire harness could become loose or detach and be damaged by contact with nearby components like the exhaust system. If this happens, the trailer lights and/or brakes may not work.
Note: This recall is to inspect all CX-50 vehicles produced before January 17, 2023 to determine if they are equipped with a Mazda Genuine Accessory trailer hitch harness kit. The kit may have been ordered and installed at the time of a vehicle purchase or purchased separately from a dealer as an aftermarket accessory.

Mazda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle or your purchased harness kit to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the trailer hitch wire harness.
On vehicles equipped with a jackknife-type folding key, over time the key blade may not stay locked in the fully extended (open) position. If you drive the vehicle with the key in the partially folded position, you could bump the ignition key and turn the engine off. This can cause a sudden loss of engine power, power steering and power brakes. This could also cause the airbags not to deploy in a crash.
Note: This recall only affects vehicles that have an "S" trim level.
Safety Risk
Airbags that do not deploy in a crash could create an increased risk of injury. A loss of power brakes can cause a sudden increase in brake pedal force and lead to an increase in stopping distance. A loss of power steering assist can cause a sudden increase in steering effort. A sudden loss of engine power could also increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise you not to attach any accessories to the key fob, and to ensure that the key is fully extended before driving. As an interim repair, a dealer will install a fastener in the key slot to prevent the key from folding. Once replacement parts are available, you will need to return to a dealership to have a spacer inserted into the slot of the key fob that will stop if from collapsing.
In certain traffic situations, when the FSD Beta advanced driver assistance feature is engaged, the vehicle may perform maneuvers that break certain traffic laws, if the driver doesn't intervene and take control.
Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with the FSD Beta feature.

Certain maneuvers performed by the FSD Beta advanced driver assistance feature may break traffic laws. This could increase the risk of a crash if the driver doesn't intervene.
Remedy
Tesla will notify owners by email and supply an over-the-air software update to improve how the FSD Beta feature maneuvers the vehicle in certain traffic situations. Tesla reminds that FSD Beta is only an advanced driver assistance feature, and the driver must pay attention and be ready to take control at all times when the feature is engaged.

On certain trucks, the bed-cover could come loose while driving and detach from the truck. This problem affects soft and hard tri-fold tonneau covers that were sold as an accessory by General Motors dealers.
Note: This recall is related to Transport Canada recalls 2019-494 and 2020-165. If your truck was previously repaired under either of those recalls, it does not require further repair under the new recall.
Safety Risk
A tonneau cover that separates from a moving vehicle could create a hazard for other drivers and nearby people.
Remedy
General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to perform the recall repairs, including adding a tether to prevent the tonneau cover from detaching.
Note: Until the recall repairs are completed, you can prevent the chance of the tonneau cover detaching by removing it from your truck and storing it.
On certain vehicles, the DISTRONIC driver assistance system might not detect when the driver removes their hands from the steering wheel. If the driver has a medical emergency (and is unable to drive or loses consciousness), the active emergency stop assist and emergency call functions would not activate.
Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a heated leather steering wheel.

If the active emergency stop and emergency call features do not work in an emergency situation, there could be an increased risk of a crash, and there could be a delay in response from emergency services.

Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the software for the hand detection system.
On certain vehicles, the rear parking assist sensors (mounted in the rear bumper) could short circuit.
Note: Vehicles repaired under Hyundai recall R0078 (Transport Canada Recall No. 2013-067) also require this repair.

Hyundai will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to replace the rear parking assist sensor fuse and any defective sensors. Hyundai recommends that if the instrument cluster does not work, the transmission shifter is stuck in park, or if you see melted plastic on the rear bumper, you should park the vehicle outside and contact a Hyundai dealer.
On certain trucks, the cabinets in the sleeper cab may not have been installed correctly. As a result, they could detach and fall.

Remedy
Volvo Trucks will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, install new bolts and washers on the cabinets in the sleeper cab.
The owner's manual for certain vehicles lists the wrong units for the recommended tire pressures. If you rely on what is printed in the owner's manual, you may not inflate the tires properly. Driving a vehicle with tires that are not inflated correctly could cause a loss of vehicle stability and/or lead to a tire failure.
Note: The tire and loading information label on the B-pillar list the correct tire pressures.

Remedy
Audi will notify owners by mail and provide you with an owner's manual insert with the correct tire inflation pressures.
On certain vehicles equipped with the emergency calling (eCall) system, there may be a software problem with the communications module. As a result, the emergency call feature may not work properly when there is a crash or when the SOS button is pressed.
Safety Risk
If the emergency call system does not work in an emergency situation, there could be a delay in response from emergency services.
Remedy
Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to each vehicle. If the update cannot be completed successfully, you will be notified to schedule an appointment to have the update performed by a dealer.
