On certain motorcycles, the threads of the side stand pivot bolt may be too short to engage in the locking nut, potentially allowing the side stand pivot to become loose. As a result, the side stand sensor switch may no longer detect the proper position of the stand. This could cause the motorcycle to fail to start while parked, or could cause the engine to stall while the motorcycle is in motion. Additionally, it may be possible to start the engine and begin riding with the stand down. These conditions could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.

Tesla, Inc. (Tesla) is recalling certain 2023 Semi vehicles. The door open warning indicator only displays when the vehicle's parking brake is not engaged and the side door is not fully latched. In addition, the door closure warning system allows the operator to dismiss the notification that the side door is unlatched, which could result in driving with an unsecured door. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 206, "Door Locks and Door Retention Components."
An operator may be unaware of an unsecured door and begin driving, increasing the risk of injury to occupants.

On certain vehicles equipped with a power operated tailgate, the tailgate lifting arms could freeze and fail. This could create noise and cause the tailgate to stop working. It could also cause the tailgate lifting arms to separate.

On certain vehicles, the crankshaft balancer centre attaching bolt was under-torqued. This bolt secures the balancer, which is pressed onto the crankshaft, and the accessory drive pulley which is attached to the balancer, to the engine crankshaft. If this bolt were to loosen, the balancer and drive belt pulley would eventually loosen and the drive belt could come off the pulley or break, causing a loss of drive to engine accessories such as the alternator and power steering pump.

THE CROSSMEMBER FRAME GUSSETS WERE INSTALLED WITH UNDERSIZED THREADED FASTENERS FOLLOWING A BREAKDOWN OF THE PRODUCTION RIVET GUN THAT IS GENERALLY USED. THIS GUSSET IS THE ATTACHMENT POINT FOR THE REAR STRAP OF THE MID-SHIP FUEL TANK.
THE SUBJECT FASTENERS CAN SEPARATE CAUSING IN THE REAR STRAP OF THE AFFECTED FUEL TANK TO BECOME DISCONNECTED. A LOOSE OR DISCONNECTED REAR STRAP ALLOWS THE FUEL TANK TO POSSIBLY CONTACT THE ROAD SURFACE INCREASING THE RISK OF A VEHICLE FIRE.
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE CROSSMEMBER GUSSET FASTENERS WITH THE SPECIFIED ALTERNATIVE FASTENERS (BOLTS).
