Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023 Dodge Challenger vehicles. The left rear seat back may not lock in the upright position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 207, "Seating Systems."

A seat back that is not locked into position can increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy

On certain vehicles, a defect could cause the brake booster pump to fail. This could result in a loss of braking assist. If the failure occurs, the driver will be provided with both visual and audible warnings. It would also cause the Vehicle Stability Control system to turn off.
Safety Risk
A loss of braking assist could cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. A loss of Vehicle Stability Control would cause the vehicle to not meet the requirements of Canadian regulations, and could increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace the brake booster pump.
On certain vehicles, the rear outboard seat belt(s) may have been damaged during production. As a result, the seat belt(s) may not hold a person in place during a crash. Additionally, the seat belt(s) may not properly lock to secure a child seat.
Note: The vehicle's lower universal anchorage system (UAS) is not affected by this defect and may still be used to secure a child seat.

Remedy
To reduce the safety risk, the company advises that you shouldn't transport passengers in the rear outboard seats until the recall repairs are completed. Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo) is recalling certain model year 2007-2014 VAH, VHD, VNL, VNM, and VT models. The affected vehicles were built without a redundant clutch disengagement switch. Without a redundant switch, a loss of signal from the brake air pressure switch can prevent the clutch from automatically disengaging when the brake is applied.
Safety Risk
Without a signal to disengage the clutch when the brakes are applied, the distance required to stop the truck may lengthen, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
