Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2024 GLC 300 vehicles. The front, rear, and fixed side windows may not be properly secured and can detach. In addition, the front air bags may not be properly supported by the windshield during deployment.
Safety Risk
Detached windows may cause a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash or injury. Improperly supported air bags can increase the risk of injury during a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the front, rear, and fixed side windows, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 15, 2024. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2023110003.
On certain vehicles, the fasteners for the left-hand front bumper may not be tightened properly. As a result, the pop-up engine hood safety feature may not work correctly in a frontal crash involving a pedestrian.
Safety Risk
A pop-up engine hood that doesn't work correctly in a frontal crash could create an increased risk of injury.
Remedy
Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to tighten the fasteners on the left-hand front bumper.
On certain vehicles, the front lower bumper cover may not be attached properly. As a result, if there is a minor impact to the front bumper, the lower bumper cover, engine under cover, and the fender liners could separate from the vehicle while driving.

Parts that detach from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Toyota will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the front bumper cover and secure it. If damage is found, the dealer will also replace the upper and/or lower front bumper cover(s).
On a small number of vehicles, the windshield may not be attached properly. As a result, the glass can become loose and could separate from the vehicle.
Note: You may notice wind noise while driving or a water leak from the windshield.
Safety Risk
A windshield that detaches in a crash could create an increased risk of injury. Additionally, a windshield that detaches from a moving vehicle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect, and if necessary, remove and reinstall the windshield. If the windshield is damaged, it will be replaced.
On certain motorcycles, the retaining pin for the side stand spring could break. If this happens, the side stand could fall or open suddenly while riding and cause the engine to stall.

A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Ducati will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to install a new side stand bracket.
On certain vehicles, the recovery eye (tow hook) may not screw into the front crossmember properly. As a result, the recovery eye could become loose when a vehicle is being loaded or transported.
Safety Risk
A towing eye that comes loose during loading or transport could create an increased risk of crash and/or injury.
Remedy
Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the front crossmember and replace it if necessary.
On certain vehicles, a part in the trunk release latch could fail. If this happens, the emergency trunk release located inside the trunk compartment may not work properly. This could prevent a person that is trapped inside the trunk from opening it.
Safety Risk
If a person is closed inside the trunk compartment, they may not be able to get out. This could create a risk of injury.
Remedy
Kia will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the trunk latch base subassembly.
On a small number of vehicles, the cowl area below the windshield may not be sealed correctly. As a result, water could leak onto the driver's side floor and damage the main body harness. If this happens, the wiring could short circuit and overheat, and various electrical systems may not work properly.

A short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Electrical systems that don't work properly could increase the risk of injury and/or a crash.
Remedy
Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to reseal the windshield in the driver side cowl area. The dealer will also inspect the main body wiring harness connector for signs of moisture or corrosion, and replace the main body harness and engine room wiring harness as necessary.
On certain vehicles, water could leak into the power liftgate control module. If this happens, the control module could short circuit.

A short circuit could create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off.
Remedy
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. FCA Canada advises that you should park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs have been completed.
On certain vehicles, water could leak into the door handle(s). If this happens, the door(s) could open unexpectedly while driving at speeds below 15 km/h.
Note: This problem could cause a clicking noise that sounds like a door being locked or unlocked.

A door that opens while driving could create a risk of injury.
Remedy
Volkswagen will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the door handles, and replace them if necessary. The dealer will also update the vehicle software.
On certain vehicles, the brackets that attach the rear entertainment screens to the front seatbacks may not have been installed correctly. As a result, a screen could separate in a crash.
Safety Risk
An entertainment screen that separates in a crash could create an increased risk of injury.
Remedy
Bentley will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the brackets for the rear entertainment screens. If a bracket isn't installed correctly, it will be replaced.
On certain motorcycles, the passenger foot pegs could break. If this happens, a passenger could suddenly lose foot support.
Safety Risk
A sudden loss of foot support could increase the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy
Ducati will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your motorcycle to a dealership to inspect the passenger foot pegs, and replace them as necessary. To reduce the safety risk, Ducati recommends not to transport a passenger until the recall inspection is completed.
Ducati North America (Ducati) is recalling certain 2023 Diavel V4 motorcycles. The right and/or left side passenger foot pegs may break while mounting or riding the motorcycle.
Safety Risk
A broken foot peg can cause the passenger to suddenly lose their foot support, increasing the risk of crash or injury.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and if necessary, replace the right and/or left side passenger foot pegs, free of charge. Owners may contact Ducati customer service at 1-888-391-5446. Ducati's number for this recall is SRV-RCL-23-002.
On certain vehicles, the rear frame could rust. In extreme cases, this could result in a rear trailing arm separating from the vehicle.
Note: This recall replaces recall HN70 (Transport Canada Recall No. 2019-025). Vehicles that were inspected or repaired under that recall also require this second inspection and repair.

Remedy
Honda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership for an inspection of the rear frame stiffeners. If the vehicle passes the inspection, the dealer will install a brace. For a vehicle that does not pass the inspection, Honda will repurchase the vehicle. In the event the repurchase is declined by an owner, a secondary inspection and body shop repair method may be possible.
On certain vehicles, water could leak into the door handle(s). If this happens, the door(s) could open unexpectedly while driving at speeds below 15 km/h.

In certain situations, the power sliding door may not stop and reverse if it is blocked.

A power sliding door that doesn't stop when it is blocked could pinch a person and create a risk of injury.
Remedy
Kia will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to update the power sliding door control module software. The update will add two (2) warning chimes when the power sliding door begins to open or close, and change the door speed to move more slowly before the door latches.
On a small number of vehicles, the engine compartment firewall may not be sealed correctly. This could allow water to leak inside the vehicle. If this happens, electrical components could short circuit. This could also affect the Pre-Safe system or cause the vehicle not to start.
Note: If this issue is present in your vehicle, you may notice wet carpets in the driver or passenger footwell and fogged windows.

A short circuit could cause emergency systems not to work, which could increase the risk of injuries in a crash.

Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to reseal the front wall.
The frame on certain vehicles may have been built with an extra and unused mounting stud near the fuel tank. As a result, the stud could contact the fuel tank in a crash and create a fuel leak.
Note: This recall only affects two-door models.

A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.
Remedy
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, remove the stud.
On certain vehicles, the wrong door latch may have been installed in the front passenger door. As a result, the automatic locking function won't work on that door. An unlocked door could open in a crash.

A door that opens in a crash could increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
Infiniti will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the right-front door lock assembly.
