Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Bronco Sport and 2022 Escape vehicles equipped with 1.5L engines. A fuel injector may crack and leak fuel inside the engine compartment.

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source such as hot engine or exhaust components, can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Dealers will update the engine control software to include fuel injector leak detection and install a drain tube, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on April 24, 2024. Remedy
DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE FIVE WHEELS FOR POSSIBLE DAMAGE. IF DAMAGE FROM THE MOUNTING MACHINE IS FOUND ON ANY WHEEL, ALL FIVE WHEELS WILL BE REPLACED.
On certain vehicles, recall 2021-103 may not have been properly completed. As a result, a second inspection is necessary. Certain vehicles were built with tires that may have been cured too long. As a result, the sidewall could crack or the tread and belts could separate. This could lead to a sudden loss of air pressure and could cause a tire failure.
Note: This recall only affects certain Continental tires, with specific date codes and mold numbers. Vehicles subject to this recall were previously inspected under GM recall N212329050 (TC 2021-103) and require subsequent inspection.

A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
General Motors will notify the owners by mail and instruct them to take the vehicle to a dealer to inspect and replace the tires, if necessary.

ALSO, THE DRIVER CAN PLACE THE GEAR SELECTOR IN DRIVE OR REVERSE WITHOUTTURNING THE ENGINE OFF AND THE TRANSAXLE MAY NOT BE IN THE POSITION INDICATED,CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO MOVE IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. BOTH CONDITIONS CANRESULT IN A VEHICLE ACCIDENT WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING.
Remedy
INSTALL TWO TRANSAXLE SHIFT CONTROL CABLE RETAINING CLIPS.
Under certain conditions, the fuel supply module connectors and wiring could overheat. If this happens, the fuel supply module could melt and create a fuel leak.

A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Bentley will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel supply module flange and wiring.

This defect can affect the safe operation of the airbag system. Until this recall is performed, customers should remove all items from their key rings, leaving only the ignition key. The key fob (if applicable), should also be removed from the key ring. Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2009-2010 Dodge Journey vehicles manufactured June 29, 2007, to June 17, 2010, and 2008-2010 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town and Country vehicles manufactured January 26, 2007, to June 17, 2010. Road conditions or some other jarring event may cause the ignition switch to move out of the run position, turning off the engine.

If the ignition key inadvertently moves into the OFF or ACCESSORY position, the engine will turn off, which will then depower various key safety systems including but not limited to air bags, power steering, and power braking. On certain vehicles, a defect in the supplemental restraint system (SRS) controller could result in the inadvertent deployment of SRS components, such as airbags and seatbelt pretensioners, or could cause these components to fail to deploy in a crash where deployment is warranted. Unintended seatbelt pretensioner, airbag or other deployment, in a non-warranted (non-impact) situation, could result in minor injuries and could also startle the driver, which could result in a vehicle crash. Additionally, failure of the SRS components to deploy in a crash could increase the risk of injury.
On certain vehicles, a defect in the Occupant Restraint Control (ORC) system could result in unwanted side curtain and seat airbag deployment in off-road events.
