TUNNEL SENSOR WILL BE REPLACED ON AFFECTED VEHICLES.
On certain vehicles, a post molded into the inside surface of the front safety belt buckle cover may fracture. The fractured buckle cover post may affect the buckle function and may exhibit either "no latch" - an overt condition as the tongue will not latch into the buckle, or "partial latch" - likely an overt condition because, although the tongue can be inserted into the buckle and appear to be engaged, it will release from the buckle without the push button being depressed when a relatively low load is applied such as when an occupant moves slightly in the seat.
No risk description available.
Dealer will replace both front safety belt buckle covers.
On certain vehicles converted for wheelchair access by BraunAbility, the occupant restraint tie-down pucks may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the tie-down pucks could become loose and detach in a crash.
Tie-down pucks that detach in a crash could increase the risk of injury.
BraunAbility will notify owners by mail and advise you to take you vehicle to a BraunAbility service center to inspect and, if necessary, tighten the occupant restraint tie-down pucks.
On certain vehicles, the driver’s seatback may have been incorrectly welded at time of assembly. This could cause the seatback to fail in a rear-end collision, increasing the risk of injury to vehicle occupants.
No risk description available.
Dealers will inspect the seat back frame and replace if necessary.
Certain vehicles do not comply with CMVSS 208 - seat belt installations. French language air bag warning labels were not installed on the sun visors.
No risk description available.
French labels and installation instructions will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles.
On certain vehicles, the bolt that secures the front shoulder belt Adjustable Turning Loop (ATL) D-ring to the ATL bracket may not be tightened to the appropriate torque level. This may result in the front seat occupants being improperly restrained in the event of a vehicle crash.
No risk description available.
Dealers will inspect the ATL bolt, and tighten as necessary to the specified torque level.
Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 208 - Occupant Protection. A defect in the programming of the occupant classification system could result in non-compliance to the standard and increase the risk of injury.
No risk description available.
Dealers will reprogram the restraints control module.
THESE VEHICLES MAY HAVE A FRONT SEAT BELT BUCKLE ATTACHING STUD THAT MAY HAVE BEEN IMPROPERLY HEAT TREATED. THIS HEAT TREATING MAY HAVE RESULTED IN CRACKS DEVELOPING IN THE STUD. IF THE STUD IS CRACKED, THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR LESS THAN THE INTENDED LEVEL OF OCCUPANT RESTRAINT IN THE EVENT OF A VEHICLE CRASH.
No risk description available.
SEAT BELT BUCKLE MOUNTING BRACKET AND STUD ASSEMBLY WILL BE REPLACED ON AFFECTED VEHICLES.
Certain vehicles equipped with rear inflatable seat belts may fail to conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 210 – Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages. The left rear inflatable seat belt buckle may have been assembled with a rivet that was improperly staked. As a result, the left rear seat belt assembly could separate from its mounting bracket during a crash, which could increase the risk of injury and would fail to meet the anchorage strength requirements of the standard.
No risk description available.
Dealers will inspect the left rear seat belt buckle rivet, and replace the seat belt buckle assembly if necessary.
On certain vehicles, the seat belt tension sensor wiring of the front passenger occupant classification system could fatigue and break over time. This could result in the front passenger airbag, knee airbag, and passenger seat-mounted side airbag to become deactivated, which in the event of crash, could increase the risk of injury to the occupant.
No risk description available.
Dealers will modify or replace the front passenger seat belt assembly as necessary.
THESE VEHICLES DO NOT COMPLY WITH C.M.V.S.S. 209 - SEAT BELT ASSEMBLIES. Certain vehicles may be equipped with rear seat belt retractors that do not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 208 - Occupant Protection in Frontal Impacts. The automatic-locking retractors (ALR) of the rear seat belts may not switch to a locked position when the seat belt is fully pulled out of the retractor. If used to secure a child seat, a seat belt that is not properly locked could increase the risk of injury to the child in the event of a crash.
No risk description available.
Dealers will inspect the rear seat belt retractors and replace them if necessary.
On certain vehicles, electrical connections for the audio module could become damaged. As a result, the seat belt reminder chime may not work when your seat belt isn't buckled. Volvo will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the seat belt(s).
Certain vehicles do not comply with the requirements of CMVSS 210. The left rear seat belt buckle anchor may separate from the floor before holding the required test load for the required time. If a separation occurred in a crash, the left rear seat occupant may not be properly restrained, increasing the risk of personal injury.
No risk description available.
Dealers will replace the left rear seat belt buckle anchor bolt.
On certain vehicles, the bolts used to attach the third row seat belts may not be long enough. As a result, the seat belts could detach from the rear pillar in a crash.
A seat belt that detaches in a crash could create an increased risk of injury.
Bentley will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the bolts that attach the third-row seat belts to the rear pillars.

On certain vehicles, the seatbelt anchors were manufactured incorrectly and, as a result, may not rotate as designed. Failure of the seatbelt anchorage to restrain the occupant as intended would increase the risk of personal injury during a crash.
No risk description available.
Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the seatbelt anchors.
On certain vehicles, there may be a problem with the driver and front passenger seat belt pretensioners. As a result, the seat belt pretensioners could explode in a crash. If this happens, small pieces of metal could hit people in the vehicle. Note: This recall replaces recall R0200 (Transport Canada Recall No. 2021-627) for Venue models.
