The two turbocharger-related oil leak concerns both affect the 3.3-liter turbocharged V6. In one case, a loose seal on the turbocharger oil supply pipe allows oil to drip onto the exhaust manifold. In the other, the left turbocharger oil feed pipe can deteriorate over time and also leak oil near hot engine components. Either leak creates a fire risk in the engine bay. The starter solenoid issue is separate in origin: water can work its way into the solenoid and cause an electrical short, which can start an engine compartment fire even when the car is sitting still. There is also a visibility concern affecting both the windshield and rear window, which may have been bonded using the wrong primer during installation. Over time, that reduced bonding strength can allow either piece of glass to detach from the vehicle while driving, creating a crash hazard.
