Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2020 Range Rover Evoque vehicles equipped with climate specification front seats trimmed with "Dinamica" cloth. In the event of a fire, the seat material may burn quicker than allowed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 302, "Flammability of Interior Materials."

Remedy

Due to a wiring incompatability, the front side marker lamps may not function. Certain vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 120 - Tire rim designation. These vehicles have an incomplete tire rim designation indicated on the compliance label. If a customer replaces a wheel with one that has a rim contour that is inappropriate for use with the tires on the vehicle, the mounting of the tire to the wheel and/or the tire/wheel assembly may not perform as designed/intended. In addition, certain vehicles are also missing the tire load rating on the label. If a tire of a lesser load rating than the original tire is installed, the tire may not be able to sustain the loads encountered during use.

On certain vehicles, the gross axle weight ratings (GAWR) are higher than the allowable maximum load for the tires. As a result, the tires could be overloaded. Driving a vehicle with tires that are overloaded could cause poor handling and/or a tire failure.

Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the tire and loading information labels on the B-pillar and fuel filler door and provide you with an add-on for the owner's manual.
