Door trim that detaches while driving can create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will repair or replace the B-pillar trim as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed December 17, 2025. On certain motorcycles, if you accidentally ride the motorcycle with the side stand extended, it may not retract if it contacts the ground. Canadian regulations require an extended side stand to retract when it touches the ground, and the motorcycle is moving forward.
Safety Risk
A side stand that doesn't retract when it contacts the ground while riding could increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Indian Motorcycle will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

Safety Risk
Corrosion of the electrical components could result in failure of various electrical systems, such as loss of wiper motor function or exterior lighting, inoperative air bags, or the ability to shift into gear without applying the brake pedal. Any of these scenarios can increase the risk of a crash. In addition, an electrical short-circuit may occur, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, reseal the driver's side cowl. If moisture or corrosion is found, the main harness and engine room harness will be replaced.
