The seat belt latch plates (the parts that insert into the buckles) for the outboard rear seats may retract into the interior paneling, preventing the occupants from being able to use the seat belts.
Safety Risk
If the rear seat passengers cannot fasten their seat belts, they have an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.
Remedy

Certain vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 108, requiring the illumination of the stop lamps whenever the brakes are applied. The rear brakes may still be applied although the brake pedal is released and the stop lamps are no longer illuminated. A vehicle driven with the brakes applied can cause overheating of the brakes, resulting in increased stopping distance. Extended stopping distances can lead to a vehicle crash with injury or death.

The power steering gear assembly may have been manufactured incorrectly, which can result in an oil leak.
Safety Risk
An oil leak may cause a sudden loss of power steering assist, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy

Certain vehicles were delivered with an operator's manual that has incorrect information about the automatic parking function (Auto-P). Specifically, the transmission does not automatically shift to Park when the driver unbuckles their seat belt or leaves their seat while the vehicle is stationary or moving at very low speed. If the driver relies on the Auto-P feature in these situations, the vehicle could keep moving or roll away.

The affected vehicles have a steering torque sensor that may not be able to properly detect driver steering input. As a result, the system could remove the Electric Power Steering (EPS) assist.
