Remedy
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THESE WHEELS. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN APRIL 28, 2003. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT INFINITI AT 1-800-662-6200.
Certain vehicles may have a small plastic tab located on the windshield washer fluid reservoir that may chafe against the underhood fuel supply line. If this happens, the chaffing could cause a fuel leak over time. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, may result in a fire.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the underhood fuel supply line. As a preventative measure, dealers will also remove the plastic tab from the windshield washer fluid reservoir.

On certain vehicles, the front hubs do not support the gross axle weight rating of the front axle. Specifically, 5,987 Kg (13,200 lbs.) rated front hubs were used on trucks requiring a 6,622 Kg (14,600 lbs.) rated front axle. If the axle load exceeds the maximum weight capacity of the hub, there is an increased risk of hub and bearing failure, which could cause a complete separation of the wheel(s) and a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the front hub assemblies with hub assemblies rated for 6,622 Kg (14,600 lbs).

On certain vehicles, the Electronic Power Steering (EPS) control unit may be missing a weld holding a contact pin due to a manufacturing error. A missing weld could lead to a gradual increase in pin contact resistance, which could result in a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Also, a loss of power steering assist could increase steering effort and increase the risk of a crash resulting in injury and/or damage to property.
BMW is recalling certain model year 2011 1-Series ActiveE passenger vehicles manufactured August 17, 2011, through December 19, 2011. Due to an insufficient sealing of the drivetrain housing assembly there may be a lack of grease lubrication on the gear shaft that transfers power from the electric motor to the transmission.
Safety Risk
Over time, the connection between the electric motor and the transmission may wear, possibly resulting in a sudden loss of vehicle propulsion. This could increase the risk of a vehicle crash.
Remedy
BMW will notify owners by telephone, and dealers will inspect the drivetrain connection and update the sealing system. Any worn electric motor gearing will be replaced. The recall began on April 4, 2013. Owners may call BMW at 1-800-525-7417 or email BMW at CustomerRelations@bmwusa.com.

A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Subaru will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the Transmission Control Unit (TCU) software. The vehicle will be inspected after a drive test, and if certain trouble codes (DTCs) are stored, the hydraulic sensor harness will also be replaced. If vehicles are confirmed to have experienced, or are currently experiencing low drive chain tension, the transmission assembly will be replaced.
