Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2022 E-350 and E-450 vehicles equipped with dual rear wheels. An inadequate connection between the power steering pressure line and the brake Hydroboost unit may result in a sudden loss of power steering fluid.

Remedy
Dealers will inspect the connection between the power steering lines and the Hydroboost unit, and replace the power steering lines, as necessary, free of charge. On certain motorcycles, the rear swing arm may develop a stress fracture which could adversely affect vehicle handling. A loss of vehicle stability could result in a crash, causing injury or death.
In certain vehicles registered and operated in areas where road salt is used on the roadways during winter months for extended time periods (Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland-Labrador), moisture containing road salt could enter the battery junction box and cause corrosion of the fuse and wiring terminals. This could result in a loss of electrical connectivity in some circuits related to the powertrain, potentially causing the vehicle to stall without the ability to restart. This could also affect the exterior lighting, which would decrease vehicle conspicuity. These conditions could increase the risk of crash causing injury and/or damage to property.

On certain vehicles, the screws that attach the intermediate bearing for the steering shaft may not be properly tightened. Over time, the screws may loosen and cause a rattling noise or a change in steering feel. If a driver continues to operate the vehicle, the screws could detach completely and cause a loss of steering control.

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2019 BMW X5 xDrive40i vehicles. The capacitors within the Body Domain Controller (BDC) may short circuit and overheat.

Remedy

On certain motorcycles, the steering damper mounting bolts at the steering head were assembled with an insufficient amount of thread locking compound and could loosen during vehicle operation. Also, due to incorrect assembly tolerance, the steering damper's uniball bearing could separate. Both these issues would cause the steering damper to become disconnected and fail to function correctly, resulting in altered handling characteristics and an increased risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.
