On certain motorcycles, a crack within the polyphenilene sulphide (PPS) piston of the front brake master cylinder could occur. This could result in the master cylinder to not be able to generate sufficient hydraulic pressure, which could lead to a loss of braking capability of the front brake, increasing stopping distances and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.
