The windshield may have air bubbles on the front lower driver's side, which can obscure the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 205, "Glazing Materials."

An owner who cannot see their VIN clearly may not recognize their vehicle is involved in a safety recall, and may not have the recall remedy performed, which could increase the risk of injury, fire, or a crash.

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2024 Lexus RX 350, RX 350h, 2024-2025 NX 250, NX 350, and NX 350h vehicles. The head restraints on the driver and front passenger seats may be inadvertently removed without pressing the lock release button. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) Number 202, "Head Restraints."

A head restraint that is inadvertently removed and not reinstalled can increase the risk of injury during a rear-end crash.
Remedy

Rivian Automotive, LLC. (Rivian) is recalling certain 2022-2023 R1S and R1T vehicles. The maximum vehicle capacity weight value on the tire placard label is incorrect. On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label may have been printed in English only. Canadian regulations require information on the label to be listed in both English and French.

Maserati will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the tire and loading information label.
On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label doesn't list that there is no spare tire. The label should reference "NONE / AUCUN". Canadian regulations require this information to be listed on the label.

On certain vehicles, the compliance label has some small errors in translation. The French translation of the acronym for gross vehicle weight rating is misspelled as "PNBE", when it should be listed as "PNBV". Additionally, the French translation of the axle/tire position heading is misspelled as "Positionner". Canadian regulations require a company to use specific words on warning labels.

In the event of an unbelted driver, the seat belt warning light and audible chime may not activate as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

On certain vehicles, the seat belt reminder chime and visual warning may not work when you start the vehicle and your seat belt is not buckled. Canadian regulations require both a seat belt reminder sound and visual telltale when a driver is not wearing their seat belt.

Tesla will notify owners by email and supply an over-the-air software update to activate the seat belt reminder chime and visual warning.
A previous over-the-air (OTA) software update could cause the vehicle not to display the correct visual warning indicators when there are problems with the brake system or when the parking brake is applied. As a result, the BRAKE, PARK, and antilock brake system (ABS) visual indicators would display as text instead of symbols.

While there is a low risk to safety, Canadian regulations require visual warnings to use common symbols, instead of words, to avoid driver confusion.
