Loose or detached front brake pads can reduce braking performance, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy
Owners are advised to not ride their motorcycles until the repair has been performed. Dealers will replace the front and rear brake pad retaining clips, free of charge. On certain vehicles, the fuel tank temperature (FTT) sensor harness could become damaged by contact with the fuel pump connector and could short circuit. If this happens, the fuel pump fuse could blow and cause the engine to stall while driving.
