Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee Plug-In Hybrid Electric (PHEV) vehicles. A software error within the hybrid control processor may result in a loss of drive power.
Safety Risk
A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will update the hybrid control processer software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 14, 2025. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2023-2024 AMG GT 63 S E Performance 4-door coupe, 2025 AMG GLC 63 S E Performance, GLC 63 S E Performance Coupe, AMG GT 63 S E Performance, 2023-2025 AMG S 63 E Performance, and 2024-2025 AMG SL 63 S E Performance vehicles with a hybrid powertrain. A software error may cause the high-voltage starter alternator control unit to fail, causing a loss of drive power.

Polestar Automotive USA, Inc. (Polestar) is recalling certain 2025 Polestar 3 hybrid electric vehicles. Fluctuations in the 12-volt system may have damaged the High to Low Voltage Converter Module (HLCM).
Safety Risk
A damaged HLCM reduces the system's ability to convert energy, causing a sudden loss in drive power and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the High to Low Voltage Converter Module (HLCM), free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 17, 2025. Owners may contact Polestar customer service at 1-800-806-2504. Polestar's number for this recall is RP1043.
Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2022 EQB 300 and EQB 350 vehicles. The welded spur gear within the front axle electric drivetrain may not have been welded properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 114, "Theft Protection."

An improperly welded spur gear can fail and result in a vehicle rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the front axle electric drivetrain, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on August 9, 2024. Owners may contact MBUSA at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2024060007.
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2024 Cadillac Lyriq, Chevrolet Blazer EV, Chevrolet Silverado EV, GMC Hummer EV SUV, and GMC Sierra EV vehicles. The electric motors in the rear drive units may have insufficiently insulated wires that can contact each other, resulting in a loss of drive power.

Dealers will replace the rear drive unit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 16, 2024. BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2024 Rolls Royce Spectre electric vehicles. The ground connection cable between the front electric motor and the vehicle chassis may contain adhesive residue which can increase electrical resistance and cause an insufficient ground.
Safety Risk
An insufficient electrical ground can increase the risk of electric shock during service work, and also increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect the ground cable connection and remove any residue as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 29, 2024. Owners may contact Rolls Royce customer service at 1-877-877-3735.

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling one 2023 iX M60 hybrid electric vehicle. The transmission final drive gear in the electric drive unit may have an improperly manufactured weld seam.
Safety Risk
The gear weld seam could break, resulting in a vehicle rollaway if the parking brake is not applied, and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
A dealer will replace the electric drive unit, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters informing owners of the safety risk were mailed on November 30, 2022. The owner notification letter is expected to be mailed November 28, 2022. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.
