KTM North America, Inc. (KTM) is recalling certain 2020 1290 Super Duke R motorcycles. The wiring harness located in the rear of the motorcycle may be routed incorrectly, which could result in wiring damage and an electrical short-circuit.
Safety Risk
An electrical short-circuit could cause the engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy
KTM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the rear wiring harness, and repair as necessary. BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain model year 2016 X5 xDrive40e vehicles manufactured July 29, 2015, to September 9, 2015. The affected vehicles have a Digital Motor Electronic (DME) control unit that may have a loose electrical ground cable, possibly causing an under-voltage condition which would result in the transmission shifting to neutral.

If the vehicle unexpectedly shifts to neutral, there would be an increased risk of a crash.
