The 2020 Genesis G80 has two recalls, both carrying fire risk: an oil leak from the turbocharger feed pipe on 3.3-liter V6 models and an ABS module that can short circuit, either while driving or parked.
The turbocharger oil feed pipe can deteriorate and drip oil onto hot engine components, raising the risk of an underhood fire. The ABS module issue is separate: an internal short circuit in the braking system's control unit can ignite a fire independently of whether the engine is running, meaning the vehicle does not need to be in motion for the hazard to develop.
