On certain vehicles, a broken solder joint on the printed circuit board of the Power Control Module (PCM) can affect the fuel pump relay performance and potentially result in an engine stall while driving and/or a no start of the engine. Engine stalling would result in lost propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the PCM.

On certain VF750F, due to production tolerances a possibility exists of a loose fit between the handlebar tube and arm. Under such conditions stresses are transmitted direct to a retaining pin. If the pin breaks due to such stresses, the handlebar tube may become loose and cause loss of vehicle control.
On certain vehicles, the springs that lock the backrest for the third-row seat may not have been installed correctly. As a result, the seat backrest may not fully lock in place.
Safety Risk
A seat backrest that isn't locked could move in a crash and increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the third-row seat, and replace the backrest if necessary. To reduce the safety risk, Mercedes-Benz recommends that you should not transport any passengers in the third-row seat until the recall repairs have been completed.

On certain vehicles, a pin socket in one of the wiring harness joint connectors may have been damaged during the manufacturing process. This could result in the illumination of the instrument cluster's indicator lamps, inability to remove the vehicle's shifter from the park position, or a reduction of steering assist. This would unexpectedly increase the steering effort force necessary to steer the vehicle at lower vehicle speeds, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Note: All vehicles have been inspected and repaired at distribution centers prior to being shipped to dealers.
Safety Risk

The seat position sensor (SPS) detects the driver's seating position and adjusts the airbag inflation pressure accordingly in the event of a crash. This is primarily to lessen the inflation pressure for smaller statured drivers who usually sit closer to the steering wheel. In the affected vehicles, the SPS harness was incorrectly attached to the 8-way power seat frame. Over time, the sensor harness could break which would cause the airbag warning light to be illuminated, and the SPS to fail. A failure of the SPS causes the airbag deployment to default to full inflation pressure, regardless of the seat position. Full deployment of the driver's airbag could increase the risk of injury for smaller statured drivers in a frontal crash.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the seat position sensor wiring harness.
On certain vehicles, the fuel filler cap gasket may not seal properly to the housing. As a result, fuel could leak from the fuel filler neck.
Note: This recall only affects certain hybrid model vehicles.
Safety Risk
A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.
Remedy
To reduce the safety risk, Subaru recommends keeping the fuel tank below 50% capacity until the recall repairs have been completed. Subaru will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel filler cap gasket.

On certain trucks, water could leak into the exterior tailgate switch. As a result, the tailgate could unlatch and open unexpectedly while parked. If this happens, cargo that is not secured could fall out of the truck bed and onto the road when the vehicle is moving.
Note: This recall only affects trucks equipped with a power-locking tailgate. This recall is an expansion of GM recall no. N232426400 (Transport Canada recall no. 2024-061.
Safety Risk
Cargo that falls from the truck bed could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the exterior tailgate switch. To reduce the safety risk, General Motors recommends that you should inspect the tailgate to ensure it's closed and latched before driving.

On certain motorcycles, the motor controller may malfunction causing the motor to shut off unexpectedly. Lost vehicle propulsion, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the rider’s reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury.
On certain motorcycles, at lower temperatures (approximately 5 - 10 degrees Celsius), wiring within the anti-theft control unit may press against the fuel pump relay. The fuel pump relay contacts could open, interrupting the fuel supply to the engine, resulting in stalling. If stalling were to occur, the driver would be unable to maintain speed or accelerate increasing the risk of a crash.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the anti-theft control unit.
TWO RUBBER WLBOW CONNECTIONS LOCATED AT EACH END OF THE PLASTIC PIPE LEADING FROM THE THROTTLE VALVE BODY HOUSING TO THE BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM PUMP MAY HAVE BEEN DAMAGED BY THE INSTALLATION OF IMPROPER CLAMPS. DAMAGED CONNECTIONS COULD CAUSE ENGINE STALLING AND/OR INSUFFICIENT BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM WHICH COULD REQUIRE THE USE OF GREATER BRAKE PEDAL PRESUURE AND LONGER STOPPING DISTANCES.

On certain vehicles, the air conditioning drain hose might be installed incorrectly. This could allow water to leak inside the vehicle. If this happens, electrical components could short circuit. This could affect different parts, such as the airbag control unit, fuel pump and emergency call functions. It could also result in reduced engine power or cause the vehicle not to start.
Note: If this issue is present in your vehicle, you might notice wet carpets in the driver or passenger footwell and fogged windows.
Safety Risk
A loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. An airbag system that does not work properly could create an increased risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy
Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect how the air conditioning hose is installed and correct it, if necessary.

On certain vehicles, the stop lamp switch may not have been installed properly causing and intermittent contact that could repeatedly cause the switch to cycle on and off. Over time, this may result in the stop lamp relay sticking in the on position, causing the stop lamps to remain illuminated. This could also impair the brake-shifter interlock, allowing the vehicle to inadvertently be shifted out of park position. These situations could increase the risk of a crash or a vehicle rollaway causing injury and/or damage to property.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect the stop lamp switch for proper installation, if the switch is not installed correctly it will be repositioned and the stop lamp relay will be replaced.
SEALANT USED FOR THE ALUMINUM GOVERNOR HOUSING COULD, WHEN THE ENGINE REACHES NORMAL OPERATING TEMPERATURE, PENETRATE THROUGH THE BUSHING AND GET BETWEEN THE THROTTLE SHAFT AND BUSHINGS. THE SHAFT COULD SEIZE ON THE BUSHINGS CAUSING THE ENGINE TO STAY ON FULL THROTTLE AND RESULT IN LOSS OF THROTTLE CONTROL. THIS COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND A POSSIBLE CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING.
