As a Customer Satisfaction Campaign DaimlerChrysler has initiated the following action: With certain Grand Cherokees, if a driver has not placed the shifter lever fully into the "park" position and leaves the vehicle running, the vehicle may unexpectedly move rearward after seeming to be stable. Inadvertent movement of the vehicle could result in a crash.
No risk description available.
Dealers will install a secondary detent system to the floor shifter assembly.
The window glass in the left-rear door may not have been properly tempered. If the glass is broken, it could shatter in to large pieces, instead of very small ones.
Glass that breaks in to large pieces could create a risk of injury.
Subaru will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the window glass in the left-rear door.
On certain vehicles, a software problem could allow you to close the sunroof remotely without the key fob being near the vehicle. Canadian regulations require the key fob to be in or near the vehicle when closing the sunroof.
A sunroof that can be closed without the key fob in or near the vehicle could create a risk of injury.
Audi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the sunroof control unit. The dealer will also provide you with an insert to the owner's manual.
On certain vehicles, the rear drive unit was not properly filled with oil. As a result, the rear axle could seize. If this happens, the rear wheels could lock up and cause a loss of power to the wheels.
A rear-wheel lock up while driving could cause a loss of control that could result in a crash.
Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a Ford or Lincoln dealer to check the oil level in the rear drive unit. If the drive unit is filled to the minimum oil level, it will be topped up to the full level. If the oil is below the minimum level, the drive unit will be replaced.
On certain vehicles, the driveshaft may detach from the transmission flange. This could cause a loss of power to the drive wheels.
A loss of power to the drive wheels could increase the risk of a crash.
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the carbon-fiber driveshaft.
This recall is for certain vehicles that had an airbag inflator inspection as a part of Transport Canada Recall No. 2015-210, but the airbag inflator was not replaced. This recall will re-inspect the airbag inflator and provides a replacement of the inflator, if needed. Long-term exposure to high absolute humidity and temperature, combined with high temperature cycling, may eventually degrade the propellant contained in the passenger-front airbag. This could cause the airbag to deploy with more force than normal. If the airbag inflator ruptures, fragments could be propelled toward vehicle occupants or cause damage to the airbag assembly, preventing its proper function.
If the vehicle is involved in a crash requiring an airbag deployment, the airbag inflator could rupture and create a risk of injury.
Owners will be notified by mail and instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the passenger-front airbag inflator. Note: The Canadian climate results in the propellant degrading slowly. This recall is being conducted as a precaution to address future risk. It is expected that all airbag inflators will be replaced before their function would be affected.
THIS VEHICLE DOES NOT COMPLY WITH REGULATION 6 - STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE AND C.M.V.S.S. 120 - TIRE SELECTION AND RIMS FOR VEHICLES OTHER THAN PASSENGER CARS.

Over time, the integrated charging control unit (ICCU) could become damaged. As a result, the 12 V battery will not charge and could cause the vehicle to enter a reduced power mode. If this happens, and you continue to drive the vehicle, there could be a loss of power to the wheels. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2024-174. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. This problem will cause a warning light to turn on and warning messages to display before any loss of power. For the Genesis GV70 and G80 models, only the electric versions (EV) are affected.
A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash.
Hyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the vehicle software. The dealer will also inspect and, if necessary, replace the ICCU and ICCU fuse.
THE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE COULD CHAFE DUE TO ITS PROXIMITY TO THE OIL TANK. THIS COULD RESULT IN A SHORT CIRCUIT AND CREATE THE POSSIBILITY OF A VEHICLE FIRE.
No risk description available.
POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE AND OTHER APPROPRIATE PARTS WILL BE REPLACED ON AFFECTED VEHICLES.
On a small number of vehicles, a software problem could cause the vehicle alerting system not to work properly. As a result, the vehicle may make the wrong sound when reversing.

A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.
Lamborghini will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to an authorized dealer to update the engine software.
On certain vehicles equipped with an Audio 20 head unit and automatic child seat recognition, the status of the passenger airbag may not be displayed correctly. For example, the display may indicate that an airbag is turned off when it is not. This could create a situation where a child or small-statured occupant is inadvertently placed in front of an active airbag. This could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
No risk description available.
Dealers will update the audio head unit software.
Certain Sierra Denali vehicles do not comply with the requirements of CMVSS 210.2 pertaining to location and instructions for properly attaching child restraints. The owner's manual indicates the incorrect seat locations of the upper and lower tether anchors, and provides incorrect installation instructions for the top tether anchorage.
No risk description available.
An owner's manual update, describing the location and proper use of the tethers anchors, will be mailed to owners.
On certain vehicles, due to continued twisting and bending of the front seatbelt stalks the cable wires may become frayed or broken. This would significantly increase the possibility of injury to the driver and/or front seat passenger in a collision.
No risk description available.
Seatbelt stalks will be inspected and, if necessary, replaced.
On certain cars fitted with 18-inch rear tires, the tire placard label shows the wrong rear tire size. Canadian regulations require the correct tire size to be listed on the tire placard. If the car is fitted with the incorrect rear tires, it may not handle as designed.
A change in vehicle handling characteristics could increase the risk of a crash.
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their car to a dealer to install a corrected tire placard label.
On certain vehicles, the fuel tank connecting pipe could contact the high-voltage battery protection cover. As a result, the pipe could corrode and create a fuel leak.
A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.
Ferrari will notify owners by mail. Once the repair parts are available, the company will send a second notice advising you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel tank connecting pipe. Ferrari recommends not to drive the vehicle until the recall repairs are completed.
On certain motorcycles, the side stand interlock switch bolts could loosen and fall out. This could allow the switch to rotate, cutting off the ignition circuit, causing the engine to stall. Engine stalling would result in lost vehicle propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road condition, and the rider's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury.
No risk description available.
Dealers will replace the side stand interlock switch bolts.
On certain motorcycles, the front brake pads could separate. This would cause reduced front braking.
Reduced braking could cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.
Triumph will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the front brake pads.
On certain vehicles, the steering column intermediate shaft universal joint connection may have been improperly assembled or insufficiently tightened. A loose or improperly tightened connection may produce noise or a steering feel which is loose or unresponsive. If these signals were to go undetected or no action was taken by the driver, a separation of the joint could result, leading to a loss of ability to steer the front wheels and increasing the risk of a crash.
No risk description available.
Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, tighten steering column u-joint bolts to specs.
