On certain motorcycles, the piston rod within the rear shock absorber can break without warning. If this were to occur while in motion, the motorcycle would lose stability, possibly resulting in a loss of vehicle control and a crash causing personal injury and/or damage to property.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the rear shock and spring strut assembly.
On certain vehicles equipped with a diesel engine, a software issue could cause the fuel gauge to display a low fuel level and turn on the low fuel light, even though the fuel tank is not nearing empty. This could cause the engine management system to wrongly shut off the engine to protect it from what it interprets as a low fuel condition. This would result in a loss of vehicle propulsion and a loss of power braking assist, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will update the vehicle software.

Remedy
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE CROSSMEMBER GUSSET FASTENERS WITH THE SPECIFIED ALTERNATIVE FASTENERS (BOLTS).
On certain vehicles, the fuel line to the high-pressure fuel pump could leak. This may cause a gasoline odour or leak.
