THE FUEL PUMP WIRING ASSEMBLY MAY CORRODE DUE TO ROAD SALT, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN AN ELECTRICAL BRIDGE DEVELOPING BETWEEN THE FUEL PUMP ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT AND THE FUEL GAUGE SENDER TERMINALS. THIS COULD CAUSE THE FUEL SENDER GROUND CIRCUIT TO OVERHEAT THE WIRING AND MELT ITS INSULATION PRIOR TO THE OPENING OF THE FUSE IN THE FUEL PUMP POWER CIRCUIT. THIS WOULD CAUSE SMOKE AND ODOUR AND COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF FUEL DELIVERY TO THE ENGINE AND THE ENGINE STOPPING.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
A FUSED JUMPER HARNESS WILL BE INSTALLED IN THE FUEL PUMP/SENDER ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT.

On certain vehicles, metal particles (machine flash) may be present in the ABS/traction control speed sensor mounting holes. These particles can come loose, attach to the sensor or rotor, and falsely indicate a wheel lock condition during normal braking. This false wheel lock signal could cause premature ABS function at the rear brakes which could increase stopping distances.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Affected vehicles will be inspected for possible metal particles attached to the sensor rotor and, if necessary, cleaned.
On certain vehicles, the rear wheel alignment was not checked during recall AMA9 (Transport Canada Recall 2021-236). As a result, the steering could pull to one side or another and the tires could wear unevenly. If you continue to drive the vehicle in this condition, there may be reduced traction. Eventually, a tire could fail and lose air pressure.
Safety Risk
A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect and adjust the rear wheel alignment, as necessary. Additionally, the dealer will inspect the rear tires for premature and uneven wear due to this issue, and replace them if necessary.
