Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2026 E-Transit vehicles. Bolts inside the high-voltage battery pack may be missing washers, which can cause high electrical resistance or electrical arcing.
Safety Risk
Electrical arcing increases the risk of a fire. In addition, a loss of drive power may occur, which can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and repair the busbar fasteners and replace the busbar if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on February 13, 2026. On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by an FCA dealer during recall 64A (Transport Canada recall no. 2023-336) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required.
On certain vehicles, the rear coil springs may not have been installed correctly. As a result, the spring(s) could detach from the vehicle while driving.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L and 2022-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles. The rear coil springs may be incorrectly installed and detach from the vehicle while driving.

Remedy
Dealers will inspect and repair the rear coil spring assembly, as necessary, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed February 12, 2026. On certain vehicles, water could leak into the rear door handle(s) and cause the door opener switch(es) to short circuit. If this happens, the rear door(s) could open unexpectedly while driving.

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2025 Altima, Sentra, 2025-2026 Frontier, and 2026 Kicks vehicles. The door strikers may have been improperly welded and break, allowing the door to open while moving. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 206, "Door Locks and Door Retention Components."
