On certain trucks, the front stabilizer bar brackets may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the bracket(s) could break and the stabilizer bar could detach from the truck.
Parts that detach from the truck could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash.
To reduce the safety risk, Isuzu advises you to inspect the front stabilizer bar before driving until the recall repairs have been completed. Isuzu will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to remove or replace the stabilizer bar, stabilizer bar brackets, leaf spring assemblies and/or stabilizer plates, as necessary.
Certain vehicles do not comply with the requirements of CMVSS 209 - Seat Belt Assemblies. The push button release effort for the front outboard seat belts exceeds the maximum of 14 kilograms (30 pounds). Certain vehicles may have been equipped with a driver power seat track assembly that was inadvertently manufactured with an incorrect worm gear. As a result, the driver seat may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 207 - Anchorage of Seats. During unusually high seat and seatbelt loading, such as during a crash, a seat track worm gear may disassemble, which could result in seat assembly movement, possibly causing personal injury.

AN EXTENDER WILL BE ADDED TO THE EMERGENCY RELEASE ANCHOR FOR THE CHILD SEAT SAFETY BELTS SO THAT THE RELEASE CLIPS ARE MORE VISIBLE AND ACCESSIBLE TO THE OPERATOR IN THE EVENT THAT THE RETRACTOR MECHANISM CAN NOT BE UNLOCKED. IN ADDITION, AN INSTRUCTIONAL OWNER'S MANUAL SUPPLEMENT CARD WILL BE PROVIDED.
