Ducati North America (Ducati) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 XDiavel motorcycles manufactured July 7, 2015, to June 22, 2016. The side stand plate lower fastening screw on the affected motorcycles may not be sufficiently tightened, causing the stand to fail and the bike to fall. Additionally, during normal use on the road, the loosening of the lower screw could cause damage to the side stand sensor switch, causing the engine to stall.
If the lower stand place screw becomes loose it can cause the bike to fall, or the engine to stall, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.

On certain vehicles, the head restraints on the third-row (rear) seats may not have been properly welded. As a result, the head restraint could move or detach from the seat in a crash.
Head restraints that move or detach in a crash could increase the risk of an injury.
Nissan will contact owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the third-row seat head restraints. To reduce the safety risk, Nissan recommends that you should not use the third row rear seats until the recall repairs are completed.
On certain vehicles, the 3rd-row curtain side-impact airbag on the driver's side may have been installed slightly out of position during vehicle assembly. This could cause the airbag to inflate in a manner different than designed or not inflate at all. The most likely result of this mis-installation is a delayed deployment. Nissan testing has determined that the delay would be about 20 msc compared with the design intent, and the bag will still be inflated before a 3rd-row occupant might interact with it in a side impact crash. Testing also determined that in the event of a non-deployment, the vehicle still exceeds all safety requirements in the third row seats.
No risk description available.
Dealers will inspect and, if required, reposition the 3rd-row curtain side-impact airbag. This action is deemed a voluntary service campaign and is not being conducted under the Motor Vehicel Safety Act.
On certain vehicles, the hinges for the rear liftgate may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, the hinges could fail and separate in a rear crash.

DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE BRAKE LINE AND REPLACE ANY DAMAGED LINES.
THE HYDRAULIC LIFT CYLINDERS ARE ATTACHED TO BRACKETS THAT ARE WELDED TO THE LIFTGATE. THE BRACKET WELDS CAN FRACTURE.
WITH A BROKEN BRACKET WELD, THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR THE LIFTGATE BRACKET TO GRADUALLY BEND INWARD ALLOWING THE LIFT CYLINDER BALLSTUD TO DISENGAGE.
